Road Closures and Detours Planned for GA-400 Ramps // Saturday, Sept. 29 and Sunday, Sept. 30; Saturday, Oct. 6 and Sunday, Oct. 7

The Georgia Department of Transportation and construction partners will close two GA-400 connector roads and ramps on Saturday, Sept. 29 and Sunday, Sept. 30 as well as Saturday, Oct. 6 and Sunday, Oct. 7. Abernathy Road from Glenridge Parkway/Mercedes Benz Drive to GA-400, a portion of Glenridge Parkway, and GA-400 northbound to Abernathy Road/Sandy Springs entrance ramp will be closed during the following times:

∙            Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

           Saturday, October 6 and Sunday, October 7, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

 

To navigate around the closures, follow these detour routes:

SR 400 northbound to Abernathy Road: Motorists traveling on SR 400 northbound should exit on Abernathy Road/Dunwoody (Exit 5A), turn right on to Peachtree Dunwoody Road, then a right on to Mount Vernon Highway. Motorists should continue on Mount Vernon Highway and turn right on to Glenridge Drive. Motorists can turn left on to Abernathy Road and continue on Abernathy Road. Motorists needing to access Glenlake Parkway will continue on Glenridge Drive to Glenlake Parkway.

SR 400 southbound to Abernathy Road: Motorists traveling on SR 400 southbound should exit on Abernathy Road/Dunwoody/Sandy Springs (Exit 5), turn left on to Abernathy Road, turn right on to Peachtree Dunwoody Road, then a right on to Mount Vernon Highway. Motorists should continue on Mount Vernon Highway and turn right on to Glenridge Drive. Motorists can turn left on to Abernathy Road and continue on Abernathy Road. Motorists needing to access Glenlake Parkway will continue on Glenridge Drive to Glenlake Parkway.
