Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation construction partners will close Peachtree Dunwoody Road from Hammond Drive to Lake Hearn Drive for bridge and roadway construction. The construction takes place from Friday, August 23 at 9 p.m., through Monday, August 26, at 5 a.m., continuously, and Monday, August 26 through Friday, August 30, overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The northbound lanes on Peachtree Dunwoody Road will remain open.

Detour Directions

Motorists traveling southbound on Peachtree Dunwoody Road should:

• Turn left on Hammond Drive
• Turn right on Ashford Dunwoody Road
• Turn right on Perimeter Summit Parkway. Perimeter Summit Parkway will change to Lake Hearn Drive
• Continue driving on Lake Hearn Drive, then turn left on Peachtree Dunwoody Road
