The Georgia Department of Transportation and its partners continue their progress on the Transform 285 @ 400 project.  

GDOT will implement a weekend-long lane closure and detour on SR 400 northbound over Abernathy Road to accommodate demolition of the SR 400 northbound shoulder over Abernathy Road between Friday, July 10 9 p.m. to Monday, July 13 at 5 a.m. The demolition is necessary to make room for bridge construction. Weather permitting, GDOT will temporarily close local roads and lanes on I-285 and SR 400 between Tuesday, July 7 and Saturday, July 11. Click here to view the full closure details.

Activities will include roadway, noise barrier, and bridge construction. Closure times will vary, and travel restrictions include possible delays, reduced speeds, and detours in some areas.
