Weather permitting, Georgia DOT is planning to close Abernathy Road under GA-400 between Friday, Feb. 15 starting at 9 p.m. through Monday, Feb. 18 at 5 a.m. as part of Transform 285/400.

Detour Directions

From GA-400 Northbound to Abernathy Road: Motorists traveling on GA-400 northbound should exit on Abernathy Road/Dunwoody (Exit 5A). Turn right on Peachtree Dunwoody Road, then right on Mount Vernon Highway. Continue on Mount Vernon Highway and turn right on Barfield Road. Then turn left on Abernathy Road.

From GA-400 Southbound to Abernathy Road: Motorists traveling on GA-400 southbound should exit on Abernathy Road/Dunwoody/Sandy Springs (Exit 5). Turn right on Abernathy Road, left on Mercedes Drive/Barfield Road, then left on Mount Vernon Highway. Continue on Mount Vernon Highway and turn left on Peachtree Dunwoody Road, then left on Abernathy Road.
