Transform 285/400: Traffic Impact Report

Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation construction partners will close lanes on I-285 eastbound and westbound and SR 400 northbound and southbound for activities to include roadway, noise barrier, and bridge construction. Travel restrictions include possible delays, reduced speeds, and detours in some areas.

WHEN/WHERE: Traffic Impacts on I-285 and SR 400 from Nov. 9 through Nov.14, 2022

Continuous Weekend Closures: (Friday, Nov. 11, 9 p.m. to Monday, Nov. 14, 5 a.m.)

General Lane Closures & Traffic Pacings:

  • One right lane on Roswell Road northbound over I-285

Daytime Closures: Thursday, November 10, to Friday, November 11, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

General Lane Closures & Traffic Pacings:

  • One right lane on Spalding Drive from Trowbridge Road to Peachtree Dunwoody Road

Overnight Closures:  Wednesday, November 9, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

General Lane Closures & Traffic Pacings:

  • One right lane on Roswell Road northbound over I-285
  • One left lane on I-285 westbound from Mount Vernon Highway to Long Island Drive
  • Two left lanes on I-285 eastbound from Long Island Drive to Mount Vernon Highway
  • Two right lanes on I-285 westbound at Chamblee Dunwoody Road

Thursday, November 10, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

General Lane Closures & Traffic Pacings:

  • One right lane on Roswell Road northbound over I-285
  • One left lane on I-285 westbound from Mount Vernon Highway to Long Island Drive
  • Two left lanes on I-285 eastbound from Long Island Drive to Mount Vernon Highway

Friday, November 11, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

General Lane Closures & Traffic Pacings:

  • One right lane on Roswell Road northbound over I-285
  • One left lane on I-285 westbound from Mount Vernon Highway to Long Island Drive
  • Two left lanes on I-285 eastbound from Long Island Drive to Mount Vernon Highway

Saturday, November 12, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

  • One left lane on I-285 westbound from Mount Vernon Highway to Long Island Drive
  • Two left lanes on I-285 eastbound from Long Island Drive to Mount Vernon Highway
