Transform 285/400: Traffic Impact Report

Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation construction partners will close lanes on I-285 eastbound and westbound and SR 400 northbound and southbound for activities to include roadway, noise barrier, and bridge construction. Travel restrictions include possible delays, reduced speeds, and detours in some areas.

  • Two right lanes on I-285 eastbound from Mount Vernon Highway to Lake Forrest Drive
  • Two right lanes on I-285 eastbound from Riverside Drive to Long Island Drive
  • One left lane on I-285 eastbound at Ashford Dunwoody Road
  • ++Two left lanes on I-285 westbound at Ashford Dunwoody Road
  • ++Two right lanes on I-285 westbound from Ashford Dunwoody Road to Peachtree Dunwoody Road

Friday, August 19, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

General Lane Closures & Traffic Pacings:

  • Two right lanes on I-285 eastbound from Mount Vernon Highway to Lake Forrest Drive
  • Two right lanes on I-285 eastbound from Riverside Drive to Long Island Drive
  • One left lane on I-285 eastbound at Ashford Dunwoody Road
  • Two left lanes on I-285 westbound at Ashford Dunwoody Road

Saturday, August 20, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

General Lane Closures & Traffic Pacings:

  • Three left lanes on I-285 westbound from Chamblee Dunwoody Road to SR 400

Sunday, August 21, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

General Lane Closures & Traffic Pacings:

  • Two left lanes on SR 400 northbound from Johnson Ferry Road to Hammond Drive
