Dunwoody MARTA station mural artwork by DAAS
The Perimeter Community Improvement Districts (PCIDs), in partnership with MARTA Artbound, Dunwoody Development Authority, and the City of Dunwoody, helped bring new public art to the Perimeter area. Implementation and artist search supported by iconic Atlanta arts organization Living Walls gave way for Houston-based artist DAAS to paint one of metro Atlanta’s largest murals outside of I-285—at 2,500 sq. feet! The mural is on the southern face of the parking deck at MARTA’s Dunwoody Station, facing Hammond Drive (one of the busiest corridors in the area).
