Beginning Tuesday, May 26, 2015, Riverside Drive, south of Johnson Ferry Road, will close to through traffic as the city begins realigning the existing sharp curve on Riverside Drive.
During the construction period, the intersection will be closed and a detour route in place. Drivers are asked to use extreme caution when driving in the area and maintain the posted speed limits.Detours will be in place to assist motorists traveling through the area. Work will include roadway construction and the installation of guardrail and sidewalks. Work is planned to be completed by late August 2015, weather permitting.
