Peachtree Dunwoody Road Reconstruction Work To Begin Thursday

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”9466″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]Weather permitting, the contractor for the Georgia Department of Transportation will begin reconstruction work on Peachtree Dunwoody Road. This work will require the reduction from two southbound lanes to one southbound lane from Hammond Drive to I-285 and a reduction of the lane widths northbound from Lake Hearn to the interstate. Periodic full closures will also be necessary but limited to nights and weekends only.

Once construction is complete there will be six total lanes between Lake Hearn and north of I-285 all freshly paved. A new multiuse path will be constructed along the west side and sidewalks along the east side.
