[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The first-ever Perimeter Work Week recently took place, removing 4,000 cars from traffic during the week. The week brought together some of the most prominent companies in Perimeter, including Mercedes-Benz, VMware, Beazer Homes, and COX Enterprises, to offer eligible employees with the option to telework or have a flexible schedule at least one day during the week.
Perimeter Work Week was featured in two Atlanta publications for its impact on the district. Read the Curbed Atlanta article here and the WABE article here.
Next Up: Georgia Telework Week
Perimeter Work Week is only a single step in expanding telework options to more commuters across Perimeter. Attend the Telework Summit hosted by Georgia Commute Options on Wednesday, November 13 to get all the tools and resources you need to launch or expand your telework program. Click here to learn more and register for the event.
This event precedes the Eight Annual Georgia Telework Week (Nov. 18-Nov. 22), a statewide effort–as proclaimed by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp–that encourages business productivity through telework. For those who participate in Telework Week and log their telework day through MyGACommuteOptions.com at least once, our partner Georgia Commute Options is offering the chance to win a $50 gift card.
Consider teleworking at least one day during Georgia Telework Week. Big changes occur when many people take small actions. Together, we can all help move the needle towards a better commuting culture in Perimeter.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]
